About Phoebe - Chiropractor Cremorne

Phoebe is an experienced Chiropractor and Strength & Conditioning Coach with a strong foundation in sports medicine, biomechanics and physiology. Phoebe’s passion for providing exceptional care is evident in the way she connects with patients, tailoring every treatment to their unique goals and needs, and continuously expanding her expertise through further education to deliver the best possible outcomes.

After completing the five-year undergraduate chiropractic degree at RMIT University, Phoebe was awarded with a scholarship to complete further certification in sports medicine and chiropractic through the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.

With a special interest in biomechanics and running, Phoebe then went on to earn a First-Class Honours Degree in Biomedical Science from RMIT University, where her research focused on running technique and treadmill motion analysis. Phoebe has since completed further studies in Sport and Exercise Science at Charles Sturt University and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Public Health at Monash University, broadening her understanding of population health, injury prevention, and athlete wellbeing

Phoebe's Background & Experience

Phoebe has been a valued team member across multi-disciplinary clinics in Melbourne and has extensive experience supporting professional athletes from a range of sporting backgrounds including triathlon, powerlifting, and AFL. Phoebe has supported various sporting teams across Melbourne advising on injury reduction and injury management, and has provided first-aid and chiropractic care at multiple sporting events around Australia.

Her passion as a chiropractor stems from her experience as a gymnast, helping Phoebe to understand the nuances of treating athletes from a range of artistic sports including acrobatic gymnastics, dance and circus. Importantly, Phoebe has a deep understanding of the role of inter-disciplinary care, and advocates for high-level communication between coach, clinician, parent and athlete.

Specialities

Phoebe has undertaken extensive training to provide tailored and sport specific rehabilitation and injury management alongside various hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation/manipulation, soft tissue therapy and taping techniques. Her multi-modal approach to care allows injury management and treatment to be highly tailored to patient needs, with her thorough and caring approach revolving around each patient’s goals, experience, and injury type.

Through her extensive studies, Phoebe has developed a strong understanding of biomechanical applications to keep her patients moving with confidence. She provides tailored exercise advice for every stage of injury and recovery, and enjoys working with individuals across all levels of sport and activity—from those new to exercise or returning after time away, to weekend warriors and grassroots athletes.
